Launched in 2001, the Dot NAME generic extension is the single TLD planned for personal websites only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other designations people are popular by. At the beginning, only third-level registrations were possible, so if you wanted to book john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already grabbed third-level names remained running.

Through our company, you can buy your dot NAME domain for a time interval between one and ten years. You will be able to switch the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already registered domain to our firm if you take its EPP transfer key from the present registrar company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been completed. There are no particular regulations on who can grab a .NAME domain name, but in order to keep the objective behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry may check who the Registrant is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain, the registration can be challenged.
